外務省が８日から、旭日旗に対する誤った批判に反論する動画を韓国語などで配信することが７日、分かった。すでに英語版の動画を配信しており、旭日旗への「侵略や軍国主義の象徴」といった批判が的外れであることを韓国人ユーザーらにも伝えたい考えだ。動画は２分間で、外務省のユーチューブチャンネルで配信される。英語版は９月６日の配信以来、再生回数を伸ばし、１０月７日現在で１万５千回を超えている。８日からは韓国語を含む８つの外国語と日本語で配信する。
